Stayed at the Popinjay Hotel for a surprise birthday weekend away with my husband. The staff were really lovely and the room was truly beautiful. The only issue I had was the amount of velvet around the hotel but that's a personal choice for me. Velvet just freaks me out!
Words fail me to be honest. New this hotel from years ago and to say it was disappointing is an understatement. Rooms disgraceful which were offered to us. Nothing like whats on the website.. under staffed...under managed.. under par... 2-3 hr wait for dinner...will not be back ...
Quaint country hotel. In a lovely setting by the River Clyde. Good location for sightseeing in the Clyde Valley
Adorable hotel. The Bar Maid was not only efficient but extremely friendlyRooms comfortable but not overly large. Did not use the food services so unable to comment on that.I didn't spot a lift but the stars are a few steps at a time
